What am I missing?!? I'm terribly stressed and I'm hoping that I'm missing some minor detail here. I waited five minutes and force rebooted, coming back to find that Mojave seemingly installed successfully, given that it let me log in to my account and desktop. Upon proceeding, the installer froze on the analytics page. I'm pretty knowledgeable with OS X but I'm at a complete loss and my ability to work has come to a complete halt. When I was installing Mojave, the installer went up to the analytics page on which I disabled everything. Please note that you can see what version of macOS you are using by going to Apple menu > About This Mac. All 3rd party installs are gone and I am left with "?" icons all over my taskbar (the app installs obviously did not complete). If you are using an earlier version of macOS (Monterey and earlier), go to Apple menu > System Preferences.
It completes, but fails to migrate all of my data. That said, I buckled after multiple failures and used the Migration assistant. Select your startup disk, then press and hold the Shift key while clicking Continue in Safe Mode.

Big Sur: Restore From Time Machine Failing Repeatedly. Trying to download it using the Appstore, I get the error message 'Xcode cant be installed because macOS 10.15.2 or later is required'. Im trying to install Mojave from scratch, starting from the official Mojave installation file downloaded from Apple.
